R.I.P Antonio Puerta

It´s a sad day in the footballing world.
Seville´s Antonio Puerta has died he was 22.
Puerta died of "multiple organ failure stemming from prolonged cardiac arrest" and subsequent coronary problems, Virgen del Rocio Hospital director Gimeno Guerrero said in a statement.
My condolences to his family and friends.
R.I.P
Crazy and not so crazy transfer rumors
There have been some crazy rumors coming out of the footballing world these days.
-Manchester City and Middlesbrough are both ready to bid for Inter Milan´s Adriano.
I can´t see him at Middlesbrough, they don´t have the history or fan base and their manager Gareth Southgate is still very fresh and questionable.
I can see him at City though, they have a good start to the season, they have a good fan base, they have a pretty good manager, they can pay him, they have the potential to be very good, and their´s another Brazilian in the team.
-The Daily Mail and The Sun are reporting that Roman Abramovich is willing to make Ronaldinho the first £200,000-a-week player in order to get him to Chelsea.
All i have to say is shut up Roman, do you want another Sheva and Ballack? Let Jose do his job, he´s good at it and REMEMBER THIS just because a player is good in one club doesn't mean he will fit in yours.
I´m still looking for a contributor for the blog.
Someone who can focus on any other league but the Prem, who can post at least twice a week, if you are interested e-mail me at hluwagc@hotmail.com

-The Sun is reporting that Ole Solskjaer will announce his retirement from football after 4 years of a nagging Knee injury. ¨Norwegian Solskjaer, 34, is expected to be offered a coaching role with the club and will be used as a worldwide ambassador¨-The Sun. It seems Man U are another striker down.I don´t know he is retiring at the end of the season or for good now, i wish him the best of luck.

If Becks can´t save the Galaxy then who can? and Roy Keane
How good was the Galaxy vs Chivas game? 3-0 to Chivas, now it really is a super classico.Becks who to me is the ultimate professional loses his cool more than once, but i don´t think he was necessarily angry at Jesse Marsch, think that it was built up frustration towards his tea mates, I think that Golden Balls realizes how bad the Galaxy are and maybe he is now seriously regretting going so early, There´s no I in team and i think Becks and everyone else is starting to see that maybe Becks is not going to be the Galaxy´s savior, what good are his amazing crosses if their is no one at the end of them?
Is there a crisis at the Galaxy? What are they going to do next season in order to keep Landon Donovan? i say send him to Chivas lol
The Galaxy WONT win MLS cup and the have to find a way to keep Dandy Landy.

I have to say i have nothing but the most respect for Roy Keane, he represents everything that is right with football, he has his head in the right place and he is what a manager should be, his grace and calm is fantastic for the game.He doesn't bash other managers/teams/players and i have a feeling that Keano will become a legend not only for his amazing footballing career but for his managerial one too.
The fact that he is honest about the ridiculous WAGS culture, he got rid of those players that were involved in a sex tape and that he recently said that players should stop attacking the ref shows his true class, I can´t believe that i am saying great things about a former Manchester United player.
Keano knows what he wants to do with Sunderland, he is realistic and i have nothing but respect for him.
Good luck Roy.

Whats going on with Tottenham? and Transfer Market
Tottenham, Tottenham, Tottenham...
-Real Madrid have signed Arjen Robben and Gabriel Heinze. I think Heinze is a good signing, Robben is always injured.
Wil Jol go?
Is Juan Román Riquelme on his way to White Heart Lane?
Will Aaron Lennon ever be fit?
Will Juande Ramos take Martin Jol´s job
______________________________________________
Everything is going on with Spurs since the Prem started!
They Won 1, Drew 0, Lost 2 and they have 3 points
I know its the start of the season but to win the title you have to start the season good and i know they won 4-0 against Derby... it was against DERBY not Man U, not Arsenal, not Chelsea, Not Liverpool but DERBY! i don´t think that beating DERBY 4-0 has saved Martin Jol´s job.
Will Junade Ramos replace Martin Jol?
Let me tell you something Juande Ramos is a fine fine coach, i would even want him at Liverpool
he has done an amazing job at Seville.
Junade Ramos would be the man to take Tottenham to the top 4 and the champions league, but why would he leave Seville? they are in the Champions League and they finished they league 3rd.
Is it even right to sack Jol after 3 games?
The sun is reporting that Spurs have rejected an offer from Fabio Capello to coach Spurs i say LIES! If Capello wanted that job he would have it.
UPDATE- Juande Ramos denies Spurs talk.
There have also been rumors that Juan Roman Riquelme might be on his way to White Heart Lane, he is a fine player and would do great player at Spurs.

-Real Madrid have signed Arjen Robben and Gabriel Heinze. I think Heinze is a good signing, Robben is always injured. To be honest Madrid paid too much for Robben.
Robben is bashing Jose Mourinho saying that Mourinho never gave him a real chance to play at Chelsea.
Robben shut the fuck up! you are always injured, how was Jose supposed to let you play? what an Idiot.
England NT

Ok so since i was on a plane i didn't see the England game but i did see the horror that is Paul Robinson and The Sun, The Daily Mail, every other newspaper and everyone in England has finally seen what i have been seeing for YEARS! he is pure RUBBISH!!!
Why is Michael Owen defending Robinson? When Michael Owen plays a full 90-minutes and DOES´NT get injured then he can defend whoever he wants.
My question is who is the new England number 1? Surely it can still be Paul Robinson
I really like David James but he is old, he can play for now, but they have to start building their squad for the next World Cup and for Euro 2008.
So who will it be? Ben Foster? (currently injured), Scott Carson? Robert Green?
Why did Beckham play for England? he has a nagging ankle injury and the time difference and being jet lagged will affect him in MLS, i understand that he wants to play for England but why risk his career for a friendly?
I heard something really interesting on World Soccer Daily (http://www.worldsoccerdaily.com/) recently, with Sven´s success at club level in England they mentioned that maybe the Golden Age of English football never existed, and i started to think that maybe they were right. There has always been this huge hype with the England NT but if you really think about it what have they done since the 1966 World Cup?
I think that we confuse the fact that England has arguably the best league in the world but they don´t have the best national team. Don´t get me wrong their are some good maybe even great English players, Steven Gerrard, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Gary Neville, Ashley Cole (in his Arsenal days), Joe Cole and others.
The problem i see is that when the players play with their country they can´t forget their club, I honestly doubt that Neville and Gerrard are buddies, or that they can even stand each other, when you play for your country you should forget about your club for that game but they can´t Neville is the captain of Manchester United and Gerrard the captain of Liverpool can they really forget the hate that they have for each other´s club?
I know this happens in other countries but i think that its stronger in Spain and England.
But Spain doesn't have the pressure that England has.
So was Sven really that bad? he did make some stupid choices but now that i think about it, Sven was not too bad, the players were just not there.
